About Us

The Woolpack is a beautiful village pub 'on the Green' at the centre of Weston, just east of Stafford. You can find us on the main A518 between Stafford and Uttoxeter, just two miles from the Staffordshire Showground. This is a traditional pub with lots of character from oak beams and low ceilings to real fires and a cosy beer garden. Pub food is served all week meaning the Woolpack is well worth a visit for a friendly welcome.

  • Starter

  • Piri Piri Chicken Wings

    BBQ chicken wings served with a spicy Piri Piri sauce and cool sour cream and chive dip.
  • Goat’s Cheese and Caramelised Onion Bruschetta (v)

    Toasted ciabatta bread, drizzled with oil and topped with melted goat’s cheese and caramelised onions.
  • Mains

  • Chicken BBQ Melt

    A butterfly chicken breast, grilled and chopped with bacon, BBQ sauce and melted cheddar cheese. Served with chips and a side salad.
  • Pedigree Beer Battered Fish & Chips

    Battered in-house with our famous Pedigree beer batter. Served with chips and your choice of mushy or garden peas and tartare sauce.
  • Wexford Cheddar & Chutney Tart (v)

    A shortcrust pastry base filled with Wexford Cheddar cheese sauce, cherry tomatoes and chutney. Served with new potatoes and side salad.
  • Desserts

  • Chocolate Melt in the Middle

    For all the chocolate lovers out there? An individual chocolate cake with a melting chocolate heart.
  • Bramley Apple Pie

    Slices of Bramley apples in a sweet shortcrust pastry, dusted with sugar. Served with a choice of custard, cream or ice cream.
